Dune

Frank Herbert

Frank Herbert was born in the city of Tacoma in Washington, he began by writing short stories and worked on several newspapers before writing his first debut novel, Dune in 1965.

Later Dune was followed by the rest of the Dune chronicles: Dune Messiah, Children of Dune, God Emperor of Dune, Chapterhouse: Dune, and Heretics of Dune.

Frank Herbert remains to be reputed as the best Sci-Fi authors and to be the Sci-Fi equivalent of J.R.R Tolkien. Dune stands out as a huge milestone for many science fiction writers and paved the way for many novels about foreign planets that are likened to our world.
